Gordon Rocks is considered one of the sites of diving most emblematic and challenging of the Galapagos Islands. This eroded volcanic crater, known as "The Cathedral," rises from the depths of the ocean off the northeast coast of Santa Cruz Island, offering an unforgettable experience both for its scenic beauty and for the abundance of marine life surrounding it.
During immersion, it is possible to meet large schools of Hammer sharksin addition to Galapagos sharks, black and white-pointed sharks, Eagle stripes, Golden stripes and curious sea wolves who usually accompany divers in an impressive natural show.
The currents can be strong, making this site an ideal adventure for experienced divers, although always under the supervision of certified instructors. The crater's reefs and rock formations create a spectacular environment that reflects the volcanic energy and unique diversity of the archipelago.

Time of departure: 7: 00 a.m.
Output: Puerto Ayora.
Difficulty: Intermediate - Advanced.
2 dives: Open water divers, advanced, master.
Experience: At least 25 dives.
Duration of each dive: About 45 minutes.
Navigation: 45 minutes.
Total time: 8 hours.
