KICKER ROCK

Details of the Tour

Dive into one of the experiences of diving most impressive of the Galapagos Islands. Golden Lion, also known as Kicker Rock, is a majestic volcanic formation of two vertical walls that emerge from the ocean, separated by a channel where marine life is concentrated in abundance.

This site is famous for offering the possibility to observe Hammer sharks swimming in a group, as well as dry-cleaning sharks, Galapagos sharks, Eagle stripes, sea turtles, sea wolves and a wide variety of tropical fish. The currents are often moderate, making it an accessible destination for certified divers, even with little experience.

During the two dives, divers will be able to explore the spectacular canyons surrounding the rock and live unforgettable encounters with marine fauna in its natural environment. At the end, a stop is made on a beach designated by the Galapagos National Park, perfect to rest, enjoy the landscape and share a moment of relaxation before return.
