From Puerto Ayora, the group will take ground transportation for 45 minutes to the Itabaca channel. Then we will embark for a navigation of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach the island Plaza Sur, where we will make a very simple walk of 2 hours with different stops to observe landscapes that are colorful by the endemic vegetation of this island.
We will also see landscapes with cliffs where petrels, tropical birds and bifurcada seagulls make their nests. As we follow the walk, we will be able to observe terrestrial and marine iguanas that, in times of copulation, mix, giving origin to the hybrid iguana. In addition, we'll see giant cactus and Galapagos pines.
After the walk, we will go to Punta Carrión with an approximately 1 hour navigation (quiet navigation with the option of seeing whales and dolphins) to perform snorkel activity in shallow crystalline waters, where we can observe sea turtles, tropical fish and sometimes reef sharks.
At the end of the day, from the Itabaca channel we will take the bus back to Puerto Ayora.
